WebViewTest is a practical Android WebView testing tool for developers, QA engineers, and teams working on hybrid apps or mobile web pages.

Use it to load a URL, scan a QR code, open a local HTML file, adjust WebView behavior, and inspect the page directly on a real device.

Key capabilities:

- Load http and https pages with URL normalization. - Scan QR codes to open test pages quickly. - Open local HTML files through the system file picker. - Save recent remote and local test history. - Toggle JavaScript, DOM Storage, cookies, third-party cookies, cache, mixed content, desktop mode, user agent, color mode, and fullscreen behavior. - Test web camera, microphone, file chooser, and geolocation permission flows. - Inspect console logs, page errors, cookies, storage, HTML source, simplified elements, JavaScript execution results, captured requests, and download requests. - Optionally enable WebView debugging for release builds from Settings, then inspect the WebView with desktop Chrome.

WebViewTest is designed for testing and debugging. It is not a general-purpose web browser and is not affiliated with Google, Android, or the Android Developers website.
